WHICH BATSMAN HAS THE BEST BATTING STANCE?
The Former Australia Captain Steve Smith is considered as the best test batsman of this decade and smith has a very unorthodox batting stance. So his batting stance can be considered as the best batting stance.
When he is in batting stance there is a considerable amount of gap between his feet. and his back foot is either at the off-stump or outside the off-stump. It is not his default stance. He changes his stance according to the bowler. Another interesting thing about his batting is his trigger movement. He also has a high backlift and he also shuffles his bat many times before hitting the ball.
The only reason why we can say his batting stance is the best is his performance. His stance helps him to play the most difficult deliveries with ease. He has even successfully played with ease against the best fast bowler of modern-day test cricket "Jofra Archer".
His unorthodox batting stance also gives him additional time to react to the fastest balls bowled. As a result, he gets extra time to decide whether to leave or play a ball. His batting stance provide him with a different style of batting which is very entertaining due to the funniness of his batting style
